Hey wassup guys, So recently my car wasn't able to start :hmm:, It has a new fuel pump and new spark plug's. The spark plugs do spark and the fuel pump does turn on when i put the key to the on position, but when i go to turn it on all i get is a click. If you guys want any other details about the car to try to diagnose the problem feel free to ask. And by the way i have turned on the car without the key (I ran a wire from the power wire of the starter to the little black wire on the starter and it started) so the motor is good I'm guessing it may be a neutral switch or something i just want to hear other people's theory's. Thanks for any help.

so you have spark and im sure you have air... so are your injectors actually pulsing? id check that next

never mind i missed the part about the clicks.... it might be you wire from your battery to starter is bad... replace the wire with a new one. but it could be early signs of a bad starter solnoid and when you jumped the wire it kicked it over

Aight thanks for the help, I'll try disconnecting the neutral clutch switch and changing the wire from the starter to the battery and let you guys know what happens.

ok so yesterday i started my car again and it ran. A few things though white smoke was coming out of the exhaust not alot though. (white smoke = burning oil right?) also the car hasn't been started in a while (months maybe even years) so maybe that's the reason for the white smoke?

and also one other thing. the car will sit at idle and the rpm's will play around for example it would go from lets says 800 to 1100 then down then up again. and sometimes it will turn off when its jus idling.

NO, i had this same problem last week. Your wires from the battery to the starter is probaly corroded. Check the ground wire to from the neg. terminal on your battery. If it is these wires you can get new ones from autozone for like 5 bucks.
