Resolved Will the gas gauge still work if I cut the ldp wires?

Like the title says. Im wanting to cut the wires that connect the leak detection pump to the eiring harness. Just wondering if this would cause the gas gauge to not function

It shouldn't have anything to do with the sending units signal, that I know of Solomon.
I'll see if I can find the wiring diagram for the gas gauge (wire colors).
I have a FSM at home for my 98 Talon, just don't have it handy at the moment.
 
Here ya go. It's basically a straight shot to the gauge cluster, so just avoid these wires and you should be good to go.
