I got a question for anybody who know about the 420a motor I have a 95 eclipse gs N/T that I am trying to turbo and I would like to build a bottom end now this is my question would a neon bottom end work I know that they have the same engine code

All you ever wanted to know about rebuilding a 420A.

Whats wrong with your own bottom end? Or are u building the bottom end of something outside the car while you drive your current engine?

MY MOTOR IS JUST FIND I JUST GOT A BOTTOM END OFF A NEON BECAUSE IT HAS THE SAME CODE AND JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF IT WOULD WORK FOR ME BUT IF NOT I WILL JUST HAVE TO USED THE ONE THAT'S IN MY CAR P.S I JUST WOULD LIKE TO STILL KEEP THE MOTOR THAT'S IN MY CAR UNTILL I CAN DO A BOTTOM END

is it a neon forged bottom end or a stock bottom end? if its stock, whats the point?

Lose the extra "o".

it's nothing special about it it was free to me I plan on doing the bottom and using je piston je ring's ect;ect just need to know if the neon bottom end will work with my 2g n\t eclipse tranny
