I installed prothane motor mounts several months ago and I check on them everyonce in awhile to see if all the bolts are still tight and the mounts are not cracked. The one mount I could never check was the one under the battery tray so today I decide to take out the battery and tray to see if the mount was okay. Everything was good and tight except the prothane inserts seemed to be popping out slightly on one side. I think it happened because when you accelerate the engine rocks back putting all the pressure on one end of the mount causing the other to be pushed the opposite way. Is this okay? Is it normal? Should I just leave it? Thanks in advance.

Just be sure the cross bolt is tight and you'll be fine. That particular mount does not get a lot of stress on it anyway. I haven't done them in both my race cars, LOL.
