My 96 GS vibrates whenever I come up to a stop sign or stop light. The parts of the car that vibrate are the dashboard, steering wheel, and the sunroof bar. Once I start driving down the road the vehicle doesn't vibrate at all, only when I stop, and the RPM range is about 700 to 900. Could this be a motor mount issue or what else could be causing this?

your car is indeed firing on all 4 cylinders, not missing or anything like that? I would check really close to make sure theres no cracks or anything in the mounts if so.

Yes that is correct, my vehicle is firing on all four cylinders, not missing at all.

To be honest, I think the stock motor mounts are still equipped. I got the vehicle in October 2010.

Just replace all 4 motor mounts if u can. The same thing happened to my car and it vibrated like hell and i replaced the motor mounts and now is really smooth. I also recommend if you have the money, buy polyurethane motor mounts or have someone do them for you. Believe me it's a world of difference and you wont have to replace them for a long time.

Should I replace all four motor mounts fully (inserts and mounts) or just the inserts? Because that I am unsure of as well.

You probably need to inspect them to find out. Take one off and look at it, the inserts will wear out but the housing shouldn't. Just make sure the housing isn't cracked or anything along those lines and look for the replacement inserts. You can't know off of speculation alone, after all this might not even be the problem but its worth tearing into it and inspecting it. Good luck bro :thumb:
