the one right by the coolant resevoir tank.. i was following the service manual and it told me to jack up the engine via oil pan with a block of wood in between.. i did that then i proceeded to remove the mootor mount bolts and then well the engine tilted sideways along with the bolt. i was wondering what is the proper way of removing it?

So are you talking about the top trans mount or the lower front trans mount. If it's the lower one you shouldn't even need a jack to take it out. It sounds like it may have tilted because you have the motor jacked up a bit.

the one right by coolant resevoir and power steering pump...

Ok so you are n/t so you have a 420a, it's been a bit since I worked on one. Anyway so it's the motors main mount, when taking this mount out you really just need the jack to hold the weight of the motor. So if it fell a bit then lift the motor back up with jack. If it raised a bit lower jack, make sense whatever you do be carefull and watch the pulleys that they don't hit the cars frame. Hope that helps a bit.

well i did lift it up a bit and when i proceeded to remove the bolts, the motor crashed down, tilting the bolt at a strange angle.. was i suppose to raise it up more or what?

Ya you may have to, double check that your jack is in a good place on the pan. And also that it can hold the weight. Because this is the main mount holding your motor up, there is alot of weight on it. Try jacking it up back into place as long as this is the only mount you removed it should be ok.

Also if you have an engine hoist avalible you can hook that up and keep the motor in place and it will make things go smooth. But, I don't know what kind of tools you have access to. hope it helps
