[RESOLVED] How much oil in my GST A/T

I just drained the oil and replaced the filter but know I can't find out how much oil to put back in. Its an automatic. Thanks in advance.

I know I have more then 50 posts, but this is a really newb question so I figured it would be ok.

I always just put in 4 quarts then then checked usually ended up with 5 quarts.
When i had my 2g that is.

Mine was n/t though if that would make a difference, i wish i still had my manual ide send it to you.

Sorry I wasn't more specific. I was talking about engine oil.

Wow. Whatever happened to just adding oil till it's at the full line on the dipstick. This isn't rocket science here fellas. I'm not trying to be mean or hurt anyone's feelings but I just think that would be easier.

My car was up on ramps, and I couldn't start it to get it off considering I had no oil in the engine. The dipstick wouldn't read accurately wen my front end is 5 feet off the ground. No need to be rude man.

No problem man, we all make mistakes. It's easy to assume people are completely braindead on the internet considering the number of ridiculous questions that are asked daily, so I see where you're coming from.

4 quarts. The engines do not differ by transmission so there's no need to specify whether it's 5 speed or A/T.

Ok thanks, I ended up putting just over 4 quarts in. And I wasn't sure so I would rather be safe then sorry, but now I know
