how much oil

This might sound like a stupid question, but how much oil do i put in my 6bolt motor.
I lost my owners manual, and im about to flip right the #*%# out if I dont find it or find out how much to put in.

usually about 4.5 qts, or just put 4 in, run the car for about 15 seconds, check the dipstick then add accordingly

Thanks and yes i have changed the oil before im not a noob, I built my 2.3 stroker motor my salf, but i shure felt like an idiot haveing to ask that question.

If someone were to put in too much oil, would the engine burn the oil out itself? If so, how much?

Overfilling will most often cause damage to oil seals and oil leaks. Drain the excess.
