Hello, I am interested in selling my 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse N/T. I am doing this post to mainly see what I should be asking for the car.
List of info for the car below:
•5-spd manual tranny,
•Non-Turbo 2.0 engine (Good on gas)
•~150k miles on body but only about 20-25k on engine and transmission
•First generation DSM body style
•A few performance modifications:
-Aftermarket Pacemaker Exhaust with a pretty ricey muffler.
-Also has cool air intake.
•This car does not pass Colorado emissions tests!!! I have not had to worry about it because I have it registered else ware, but I am slightly negotiable on price due to the fact that many people might have to do some work on it to get it to pass.
•The car comes with an extra set of winter wheels with worn down tires on them from last year.
•Previous owner was a smoker but the only evidence of this is a few burns on the seats.
•Previous owner installed car audio for a living so the equipment that was installed was done correctly including a Pioneer head unit, MTX 4-channel amp, 4 MTX 6.5'' 3 way speakers, Tsunami Capacitor, and I have installed a 12'' Rockford Fosgate Subwoofer and 250w Rockford Amp that I might include for the right price. The sound system rocks.
•Engine and transmission were replaced about 20 thousand miles ago by previous owner which was done with a mechanic who worked only on DSMs.
•I just replaced the clutch, tires, front struts, front axles, and other front end suspension components about 3000 miles ago so they are all relatively new and in perfect working order.
•The exterior has some dings being that it is a 93, but only one substantial dent about 4x4 inches above the passenger door from a branch falling on it. (The door was not hit so it seals perfectly and does not leak) There is a small area on the rear passenger side of the car where the clear coat is coming off but not too bad.
•The interior is in good condition with, as mentioned before, a few cigarette burns from the previous owner, but it has no smell of cigarettes what so ever. It does have back seats for two other passengers but it is small back there.
There are a few small aftermarket adjustments with the interior, such as a cluster gauge that can change colors from light green and blue to a darker blue which can be at various brightness's. The odometer on this gauge cluster reads 188k but, as mentioned above, the body only has about 150k.
•The car did spend half of its life in Missouri with the previous owner, so it has some rust but not on the body.
•The only reason I am selling is because I need a 4 wheel drive car such as a 4-runner, and I also need something bigger for my life style.
•I have loved this car and hate to see it go. Overall this is a great car that has a lot more life in it and gets great gas mileage (around 30 mpg) and I hope to see it go to another great home.
Thanks for looking.
Will post pics once i get a few recent ones.
