After searching through many threads, I found a front strut bar that looks halfway decent. Problem is, I have no idea what brand it is or who owns this DSM. Any ideas?

Thanks :)

Looks like a 1g Greddy strut tower bar. They're the only ones that I know of that used all three bolts to mount to the strut towers. AFAIK, they aren't available anymore and you'd have to find one used.

Looks like most I see on ebay. An aluminum bar that bolts on to 2 plates. That one just has a full round base plate. Bolts still offer a place to flex wouldn't they? Unless locked tight as heck. I used to see them come into the shop I was at loose. Kinda pointless.

I do like the full circle design. But I just didn't care to spend a lot, nor do I like the bolt in bar so I built my own. Picked up some 1/8" plate steel and some 7/8" dom tubing.

And I do honestly say, I feel a difference with and with out it.

Could you make me one period? =)

Nice looking bar above though - good fab job. Can you make me one like that in titanium? :D

I wish. I made that while at school and was actually an involved project. I've never even tried tig welding titanium, but it sure would look nice.

Thanks for the comments. Kids at school actually made fun of it because it didn't have complicated bends. I said, its about function, not fashion.

Thanks for the replies everybody!

DSM Jeff - That strut tower brace looks great! If you ever wanted to get rid of it, I don't think you would have any problem :thumb:

In the mean time, I'll be keeping an eye out for that GReddy brace. Hopefully one turns up...

Thanks again
