Well Guys as the title states.

It starts and idles round 250 -400 rpms, I have swapped the plug wires and I have a key driver chip with cas inversion. Also It won't rev above 2000 rpm, it just bounces. Then when you let off the gas it stalls...

I also tried the stock chip, the same deal...

As soon as I put the stock ecu in and flip the plug wires to stock it runs great...

Anyone have any ideas, I have been out here for 5 hours...

Just for shits and giggle have you tried the eprom ecu without changing the plug wires? I'm not sure why this would happen but it might be worth checking. Perhaps you have a motor swapped from a 2ga.

Thanks for trying man, I bought my car from a 56 year old who bought it new, It was all stock till I got it :thumb:

Turns out the ecu is bad, I had my friend who I traded my big 16g to for the ecu come down, I tried my Keydriver chip in his and it worked. So at least I know my wiring was good :sneaky:

He is taking it back to ECMtuning, they rebuilt it but it still didn't work so I guess they will look it over again.

He said I will have it back by Wednesday

I did get to try the 3 step while I had his ecu in my car It worked good and the gas pedal to change the 3 step settings worked great.
