Okay, so I'm going to be attempting to help my buddy tune his DSM this weekend. He's using DSMlinkV3, and his mods are;
6bolt swap 2g head 1g cas
hks 272 cams
crower titanium valves/springs
weisco 8.1 comp pistons bored .20 over
eagle h beam rods
walboro 255lph fuel pump
fp hta82 turbo (gt35r)
tial 50mm bov,tial 44mm wastegate
dnp tubular manifold
fic blue 1050cc injectors
aeromotive fpr
koyo radiator slimline fans
ets full race interooler
shep stage 3 transmission REM ISF Process double synchro 3-4 EVO III first gear and input shaft
fidenza flywheel zoom clutch
egr blockoff
He is also running Speed Density.
He got the car to start, but it stutters terribly when given any gas. The only things he touched were Global and Dead Time.
Now, I'm not too familiar with DSMlink, but I've tuned SAFC, Split Second ARC2, and have been a part of tuning 3S's with AEM EMS.
I have not been over to see the car yet, or know anything else about it. I'm going over there this weekend to set a base tune, so we can get it to a local shop.
Any tips/pointers to setting a nice base tune with DSMlink given the information I posted?
Thanks!
Joe
