[RESOLVED] Diff. between BPR6ES and BPR6EKN?

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

B=thread diameter (14mm)
P=projected insulator
R=resistor type
6=heat range
E=thread reach (19mm or 3/4")
S=Standard 2.5mmø center electrode

The other ones have:
K=2-Ground electrodes
N=Special Side electrode

As for which to use, either will be fine. The 'ES plugs are what most people run (some run unprojected plugs - no P in the part number).

Thanks guys! I just seen where yall told some one else the same thing. Sorry :) I put the BPR6ES in earlier today... it had the 6EKN's. I gapped them at .028-.029 and it ran fine it seemed like since then so i think i'll leave them. I am going to drive it about 4 hrs to the NC mountain meet in 2 weeks so just wanted to make sure the BPR6ES were fine, Thanks!!

Just for any one that’s interested or did not know, spark plugs that have more than one grounding electrode don’t do any thing for performance, as said above the spark will only go to one ground at a time.
The only benefit is they last longer, as one ground wears out the spark moves to the next ground.:thumb:
