[RESOLVED] NGK bpr6es wierd?

I bought some NGK bpr6es plugs and NGK wires yesterday. Arent the NGK bpr6es plugs suppose to be copper? I open all the boxes of the plugs. Are the bottom of the plugs suppose to be different colors? Yes i'm a noob. I just want to make sure. Yes there all the same plugs.

That's really weird... I have never seen them with different colors either.

Yea thats what I thought. Do you think I should take them two back and get the ones that look chopper?

If it were me, I'd call up NGK and see why they are different. They are probably perfectly fine, and it would be nice knowing the answer as to why they are different!

Alright, I'll try and call ngk tomorrow or I might go to advance auto parts and ask them why there different like this. What does other people think of this?

Now you have me curious as to what mine look like!

The set I just installed this past weekend (BPR7ES) were the silver color. I'll have to go look through my bag of spark plugs and see if I have any of the copper colored ones. They look very familiar.

It's my first time i've actually got the same plugs but different colors.

I just put the 6's in my car and they were all silver.

do the plugs have the number on it i cant remember, if they do and they all say there 6's i wouldnt worry about it.

Oh, good god.
The copper's inside the plug.

The plating you're looking at is cadmium, to keep the steel body from rusting.

The color won't make any difference.
