Hey,

So I have completely stripped the engine bay of my car and I had a quick question. I know I am supposed to cap the upper tube on the splitter that comes off the fuel vent line, which would then lead to the canister, but my question is can I just remove that splitter all together and just cap the steel line itself?

DO NOT cap the line. It needs to be vented still. Just add on a piece of vac hose and route it out of the engine bay.

Is that splitter valve there for any real reason?

Meaning, can I get rid of it and just vent that line?
