[RESOLVED] arp head stud washers

ok i have searched and havent found anyone having the same problem i am having. i have arp head studs, and i am taking my head off right now and it is stuck. the washers are catching on the threads i believe, what would be the easiest way to pull them out of their. i dont have a magnet but i will run out and get one unless their is an easier way. thanx

I know that there can be issues of the washers catching on the springs when installing the them, but I haven't heard of this. If you just want to take everything off easily try to remove the studs from the block, see if that helps, but I may be misunderstanding what the problem is.

I would say they are hitting the springs on the corners . Take off the washers first .

OK i ended up just taking the studs out just now with a 5 mil alen key. what was happening was when i was lifting the head up the washers were catching on the threads of the studs. sorry i wasn't more clearer, anyway i got it thanks for the replies anyway. mods feel free to lock this thread
