Looking to see peoples ported o2's. I got mine ported where it mates up with the downpipe. This piece will be going onto a 14b. So what all and needs to be ported?
 
I'm asking what all on the o2 housing needs to be ported. I got the wastegate entrance matched to the 14b exhaust housing. The 'bell shape'..

What about the turbine exit part? can I widen that up?

mods:
MBC 15 psi
K&n air filter
boost gauge
open downpipe

uninstalled mods:
3" downpipe
2g o2 housing
3" test pipe
2g manifold
250 fuel pump (waiting on fpr)
 
Again, it would be pointless to do so much unnecessary work to an otherwise stock setup. You'd see more gains by porting the manifold and turbine housing inlet to 7cm2 if you haven't done so already.

Why the 3" open downpipe? Aren't you getting INSANE boost creep?

Mani and turbo are getting ported, trust me. I got the 7cm gasket and manifold gasket already. Car didn't come with no exhaust besides stock downpipe. So with my budget I have to buy one piece at a tmie since exhaust systems can run me 500 bucks.
 
as everyone else has said - it depends on your mods
Follow the the upgrade path, the first things I would do is the free intake mods and replace the upper intercooler pipe. The biggest "bang for the buck" that I got my setup was to replace thr uicp with a dave brode pipe and 1g bov. As far a porting the O2, it depends on your turbo. I put in a ported O2 at the same time as a 14b and the difference was huge, but I don't know if it was because of the 14b or the O2. When I went to a e316g I had to re-port the O2 a LOT larger. If you are looking for WHAT to port, do some searches it has been discussed many times before.
 
I got it guys, 2g o2 housing obviously flows more than my stock 1g'r. Espeically a ported o2.
