Ok I just took my car in for a new transfer case after it locked up. The dealer said they would give me a new transfer case, but they would not install it untell I got a new drivers side Axle, Intermediate Shaft, and bearing kit.

Well I already have a new axle, So I told him to order the bearing kit "it was only $60.00"
but he said the Intermediate Shaft was discontinued, beside it list's for almost $500.00
So I need one bad so they can start working on my car. The only one I could find was a DSM Graveyard - Your #1 Source for Used DSM Parts! and there it was $250.00 used and they were sold out. Also that is alot of money.. So can anybody help me find a Intermediate Shaft????

1995 Eagle Talon TSI AWD 5spd.

I'm going to try and call them tomarrow. The only problem is that I think the part is over priced, at least for it being a used part.

I have an automatic one, tell me why they won't use the old ones, are they trying to get money out of you because they have to do a free job.

Well that's what I'm thinking.
I don't think a auto one would work. I shure it would have to be out of a manual.
