What one would I take off? CV joint and intermediate shaft

Ok so i was going pretty good till i got to this both ends are on what end would be easyest/better to take off? the cv shaft is brand new but if its easyer ill take off the cv metal thing and put the other one in... also when im installing it can i install it all together or do i have to do something frekay?

If you are trying to figure out how to remove that cv housing on the intermediate shaft you need to take a hammer and beat it off of there. Then you just slide the new axle onto the intermediate shaft and you are good to go.
