I am just wondering if this should be good enought for what i need. I have read about it and most people who have used it say it was very good and never had a problem. It is the xtd stage 3 clutch. it's very nicely priced and comes with a 12 month warranty on it. It also says it's good for 350 hp. Would this be prety good and be able to hold up even when i upgrade to an evo3 16g turbo with all supporting mods?

I am also going to replace the stock flywheel with a fadanza light weight flywheel i think. Is that a good idea? Rather than just getting my stock one resurfaced i figured it would be better.

These are the ones i am talking about.

Do these both seem like a good buy? Andd will they give me better performance than my stock set up? Atleast down the road?

Let me know any personal experience you may have with either of these.

Also i have heard about the fadanza flywheel making the car real weird at creeping speeds. Is that true?

Why don't you go with an act2100 ? or even a 2600 if you feel more 'hardcore' ?
The fidanza flywheel is a nice updrade though.

I would like to go with act2100 but dont have enough money for that and the fadanza plsu labor to get it in as i dont have time to do it myself. I just want to know how the xtd racing clutch is? Seems like most people who have used it are happy. The act ones are like 300 or more and the xtd stage 3 clutch one i found for like 130 with a 12 month warranty.

For a flywheel go to RRE and look at their "no name" flywheel. It some looks VERY similar to a name brand just less. I have it and love it, and since it is heavier than the fidanza, no it does not rev as fast, but it does not de-rev as fast either. A good mix I think. My brothers eclipse has the fidanza and it is "weird" at low rev sometimes. Unless your dragging alot I personally don't think it has enough mass for my comfort.
As for the eBay stuff, I buy a lot from eBay, but never an intergal part of my car,ie brakes, clutch, turbo. that is not to say there are some truly good deals and honest sellers, but I don't think the chances are good.

How much is the rre no name ones? i found the fadanza for 178 with free shipping so figured it is a very good price. Also what do you mean by it being weird at low rpm's? Is it much different to drive with it? I heard that at low rpm's sometimes it is real hard to just slowly drive the car like at a creep speed? Is that true? Some people said it would stall out or something? I figured for that price and since i am planning on modding my car with new turbo and supporting mods, it would be good to just go ahead and get a good light flywheel.

The RRE is 220. It is an 11lb steel flywheel. And yes his car does stall sometimes at slow speeds, but mostly it is when he is slowing down from higher speeds and depresses the clutch the 8lb flywheel de-revs very fast, and sometimes it stalls. I never have the problem. We both have very similar modded 2g's. I am no mechanic, but I read up on why his would do it and not mine and that is what I have come up with. Needless to say his next mod is changing to my flywheel.
