clutch and flywheel

okay so I'm looking for a clutch kit that includes the flywheel and clutch, where do you guys get your kits?

I wanna go with an act clutch and I am looking for 350-400whp so will the 2100 cut it or should I go with the 2600. Also I have a 7 bolt so what are my options with not getting such a strong pressure plate?

looking for the disk without the springs in it that I hear fall out, what is this one called?

The disc without the springs is called and unsprung disc. I would reccomend going with atleast a 2600 pp. STM has an ACT deal going on right now, and im sure they would hook you up with exactly what you need and get you a flywheel at a great price too.

I love my Act2600 clutch setup. I am running it with a 7bolt act light weight flywheel and a street organic clutch disk. Clutch pedal does not feel stiff. SS clutch line hose is a nice upgrade too. A little longer slave cylinder push rod may be needed. With an aluminum flywheel I would highly recomend a forced performance dsm aluminum flywheel hardware kit (please note that I had to shorten the flywheel bolts by about 2mm and balance each one after that because crankshaft holes were not deep enough and I did not want to drill/tap those holes deeper)

In AWD cars there is a side effect after clutch upgrade, it is a harmonic vibration noise which happens only while in a gear decelerating between around 3k and 2k rpm. Noise is more severe on those cars with stiff motor/transmission/rear-differential mounts. I searched many threads related to this side effect and found no real solution. I was able to partially mask the noise by replacing propeler shaft's pilot bearing mounting rubber bushings with solid aluminum bushings.

2600 with street disk is the way to go. its not bad for a daily driver and good from plenty of power. 2900 is discontinued because its really a tranny breaker.
