Okay I did searching and all I kept finding was about swapping to a manual rack.

I am wonder if the rack from Advance Auto would be good?

Buy Cardone Rack and Pinion Complete Unit - Hydraulic Power - Remanufactured 26-2109 at Advance Auto Parts

For the price, and 15% off right now etc. I looked at the rebuild it was a little complicated, a long process, and needed special tool like the giant hex key.

They write up on here is using a rebuild kit from Rock Auto which is about 92 bucks. (So its not like they are using OEM stuff here)

And I would need new boots: another ~20 bucks.

So based on time and money I feel like it would just be easier to swap everything out.

Has anyone used one of these before? or any other recommendation on what I should do is appreciated.

Thanks

I'm using an Autozone replacement.

Somewhere upwards of 20k miles of use, probably closing in on 30k now and no complaints.

Cardone is mainly what you are going to find out there and is a reputable brand.
