How do I go about replacing rack and pinion boots mine are completely shot is it a headache to do my self 420a eclipse 2nd generation

Not a bad job. But a alignment will be needed after because of removing the outer tie rod ends make sure to mark the location of the tie rods prior to removal. Doing so will allow you to get alignment close enough to drive but not spot on. Not a bad time to replace other worn suspension parts also seeing a alignment will bee needed anyways
