1G Replacement propeller shaft doesn't fit

I have an 1993 Plymouth Laser Rs Turbo AWD which had hole in propeller shaft boot.I ordered an replacement propeller shaft from cataloge (not oem as it was more expensive). I noticed the original one is smaller than the new one. Everywhere I search for replacement it shows the same propeller shaft as i ordered.

Clearly a different lobro joint. Is the rest of the drive shaft the same?

It should be. Both carrier bearings that i ordered were an exact fit.
