Ok yl im stumped i replaced the vss and pigtail connector and still no speedometer. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok my spedo meter still isnt working just got a new sensor and pigtail for it. Does anyone have a diagram of what wires to splice together?

Yet another new sensor and pigtail or your still trying to make the ones you got last year work?

The sensor harness is simple IIRC, power ground, and signal. If it's like the 3kgt the signal is a voltage the cluster sources and the VSS pulses it to ground. (Edit - It looks like the ECU provides the +5 pullup for it)

There are several other things also connected to the VSS signal and any one of them can mess up the signal as well as a potential short or open on the wire. (Like the TCU, Cruise Control, and convertable top on a spyder)

Do you have a Multimeter?

A new sensor and pigtail i think my problem is how i have the pigtail wired i have searched far and wide for a diagram on how to wire it properly

Also the vehicle sat for a bit but was started and ran a few days a week. Was down with a work injury for the last 6 months

Yes it has properly seated im the trans. And from what im seeing i have the pigtail wired correctly but still no speedometer. Maybe a cluster issue?? Or a pcm issue?

Also the check engine light has gone out since replacing the sensor and pig tail. So leaning towards a cluster issue?
