Replaced coil pack still no fire

So i replaced my coil pack today cause my car died on me an will turn over but doesnt have fire an its still not working... I check the volts from the red/black wire on the plug into the coil from the ecu and its 4 volts is that right or has my ecu possibly went out?!?! Any help appreicated thanks
 
Is the 2G Cam Angle Sensor (CAS) like the 1G? On a 1G, you can pull the CAS off and manually spin it. While you're spinning it, you can hear each injector 'click', and if you have a spark plug pulled and grounded with the wire attached, it will fire.

Also, doesn't the coil pack always have 12V (battery) sitting on it?
 
If you've got a spare spark plug, pull off a spark plug wire and put it in there. Then make sure the spark plug is grounded to something. The intake manifold is an OK place. Pull your CAS off, and turn your car key to position right before it will actually try to start the car. Now if you turn the CAS by hand, you should hear the injectors 'clicking' sequentially, and your spark plug should eventually fire. Google '2G DSM CAS'. It is on the top/left of the valve cover there.
 
Not always, my 96 GSX CAS sits inside the cam gear on the driver side (bolts to the head), impossible to access without taking the cam gear off, all u can do it test the wires for voltage to say if its bad or not. Crank sensor could be bad as well, MPI relay, ecu, etc...could be a lot of things but id start with the CAS. Also, make sure your new coils are tight as well as the ignitor (right next to the coils on left) and plugged it all the way, they do ground to the manifold.
 
Lets not jump to conclusions here and waste the guys time and possibly money.

For your car to die while driving may indicate a fuel or sensor problem. Another thing to check is your CAS and CPS sensors. Theres threads on the site that tell you how to test your CAS and CPS, id start by testing those. When you turn the ignition on the computer reads signals from both sensors and if it doesnt get a reading from one or the other it'll pretty much disable your ignition system resulting in no spark or fuel, it will still crank but wont fire over.

:thumb:Thanks guys for all yalls help but mitsubishi has the car right now i got it picked up an there gonna figure it out and if its something simple ill just fix it myself so i aint gotta pay them but while its there ima have them fix my recall anyways so i can kill 2 birds with one stone LOL
 
So did you ever figure out what the issue is?? My car did this too me also. Towed it home that night and spent the next day replacing plugs, checking wires, replaced ignition coil, and still could not get her to start. While trying to figure it out I had my gf turn it over and I heard a slight noise from inside timing belt cover. Turns out that my idler and tensioner pulleys had both collapsed. I thought maybe my timing belt had wore down and just didn't have enough bite to turn everything but it was the pulleys. Luckily I didn't bend any valves or cause internal damage.

Probably not the issue with your car, but something that you probably wouldn't think of as something to check.
