Replaced tranny now clucth slips badly in 1st gear

Ok, so after 8 months of my car sitting i finally found someone to swap my tranny/transfer case out with a new one. Well went to pick it up today and went to drive away and the car almost didnt go. Cluch was slipping like it had 200,000 miles on it. Now this clutch actually has less then 1,000 miles on it. Its an act 2600 with a fidanza flywheel. I never had a problem till the tranny was swapped. What went wrong? Was the clutch not bled or something? Want to get her back on the road ASAP please help!!!!

Check the fluid in the master cyl, then try bleeding it. Check for leaks at the slave cylinder also. It may just be a matter of adjusting the pedal. Check those things out.

Ok, I bleed the clutch and still no help. Where is the slave cylinder lockated at? Isnt that the piece that has the bleeder valve on it?

Yes, that is the slave. Check the boot for any signs of leaking.

No visible leaks. Seeing that this only happened since the trans was out of the vehicle, could it not be lined up correctly or something?
