Repairing a T25 Wastegate?

The wastegate on my t25 has a little issue. The part that connects to the turbo via a rubber hose is broken off. Is there a remedy for this or would i be better off simply getting a different one?

Probably just scrap it. You can't use anything that protrudes into the housing or you'll cause the wastegate to bind or stick open.

You can try tapping in a fitting like the one in the picture I send. I should mention the fitting is resting in 1/8 inch thick material and is perfectly flush on the inside. the fitting does not protude. It looks like you might have some thickness to work with. I would also suggest using high temp locktight to hold it in.

^ Won't work.

You'll bind the metal spring base that pushes open with the diaphragm, and the actuator will never open.

I ran into another issue related to the wastegate! the little clip that holds the arm onto the actuator broke...can i go to the dealer to get another or is there some good alternative?

You can use a small ass couter pin (unsure how to spell that)

Ive used them on the wastegate actuater hole

Go to your local R/C hobby shop. Look in the airplane section and you'll find some fittings for R/C engine carbs. They use a very small thread with a barb on the other end. You should be able to find one small enough to tap into that hole without it protruding through.
