repair steering rack

Hello everyone! Did anyone try to repair the steering rack? Mine is leaking from drivers side and I couldn't find any DIY tutorial.

Yes, I've done it. I used the FSM and Haynes. No tutorials that I found.
Don't do what I did and reinstall the rack into the cylinder without first covering the teeth. It will tear up that seal deep down inside.

i dont have a galant vr4 but i think they are the same racks
