I am about to order the Viper 5901 car alarm with remote start and I had a few questions about setting up the remote start feature.
I want to bypass the "manual transmission mode" that it uses for manual cars for the remote start. I searched and seen that someone has done it, but I wasn't quite sure how it is actually wired up to do so. I see and understand how the clutch switch has to be manipulated with but thats all I have figured out so far.
I always have my turbo timer on and always follow this pattern when parked even if I was sleeping: ebrake->neutral->turn key off and pull out-> shut off turbo timer manually. I do that every time, so leaving the car in gear or without the ebrake on kills my car after the key is pulled which throws me out of wack and I'll realize I'm in gear or without the ebrake on.
I see the thread on how to arm the alarm with the turbo timer on and I believe I understand how it needs to be setup.http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-electrical-wiring/332597-wiring-aftermarket-alarm-turbo-timer-together-easy-way-no-cutting-relays.html Thanks
