i have a fluid leak and it is red. it is a 5 speed so it cant be automatic tranny fluid. it isnt the tranny cuz i just filled it and it is yellowish. what would be a red fluid on my car? thanks in advance

Where is it in the engine bay? By the tranny or kinda on the other side of the engine?

Where are you seeing the leak? On the ground or a specific part? My power steering fluid is red, but it is because i am using some of that lucas power steering stop leak.

gear oil for any of the boxes could be red....i just drain and filled my 5spd, front diff, and rear diff with 80w-90 GL-6 and its red....

i can pinpoint it under the car. just dont know what it is called. it is like behimd the tranny is area. it has a rubbermount holding this "thing" with rubber boots on the end of it. and there is a line that runs through the rubber mount. that is where i have pinpointed it 2. but i just filled my tranny with lucas and penzoil gl-5 (only what they had, hate penzoil) and that was yellowish. the onlything that i have not checked (that i know of) is the transfercase. that has to be it cuz the brake fluid is not yellow, engine oil isnt, power steering isnt (looked in it) and the ?master cylinder? (right next to the brake filler) fill isnt. else i have no idea?
