Gear fluid leak

When I filled up my transmission with gear fluid it started leaking from somewhere around the transfer case? The transfer case is bolted on tight so I don't know what it could be from. It leaked like a quarter to half a quart out. Any help would be great. Also it's a 95 talon tsi

There is a seal inside the bellhousing for the transfercase input. A very likely suspect. You'll need to go look.

So I'll have to take the transfer case off and look? And if it is a bad seal how much is a replacement
