Vancouver,
As the topic states-- are there any engine tech people with any insight on how a TurboXS RFL BOV be modded to so that it can be recirculated? :thumb:

i dont think the cone comes off.

you could cut the cone down to where you could fit maybe a 1.5" tube of sorts onto it and clamp it, then fab something to go from that 1.5" tube into the recirc tube.

another thing. when i recieved my rfl by accident, i never checked the fitment when putting it into the 2g uicp pipe with the adapter. seeing the rfl is very tall, does it clear the hood when you close it?

it can be made to work. I know cause its working just fine for me. Everyone says its a shitty BOV but i got it for free from a friend and since the 2g bov is proven to be poor quality i figured the RFL would be worth using. I work for a hot rod builder/fabricator who is an extremely good welder and he tig welded a pipe inside the hone tube for me. I was able to turn the bov forward enough to get the hood to close just fine with the dump tube in the intake. I did make a mistake at first in thinking it was gonna clear when it wasnt and i put a little pimple in my hood by pressing it against the vacuum nipple on the bov. Its not very noticable but it bummed me out enough that i dont want anyone else to make the same mistake.
