rebuilt head break in

Ok so let me give some history. My timing belt broke and bent 12 valves out of 16 so took the head apart and cleaned it out new valves in and gaskets and water pump and timing belt and it runs better now but how many miles do I have to break the head in since I pretty much half rebuilt it

I'd just run it. I broke my motor in easy for about 300 miles then it was whatever it would take. I have never broke in a head over my 40 years of building cars, but I do usually take it easy on the motor for the first 300-500 miles, although I had a buddy who's dad would build him cars and he would immediately say take it out and see if it holds together. He would rather deal with a problem immediately than wait for his son to drive some miles on it. I always cringed and gritted my teeth but by god they all held together. Those were small and big block chevy's though, not DSM's.
