Head gasket break in?

Is there a proceedure to break a headgasket in? Like a certain amount of miles before you can get on it?

Not that I have ever heard of. But personally i would put a few miles on it before you really get into the boost.

No, just be sure to follow the correct pattern when tightening your head bolts down, and be sure to re-torque them after a heat cycle.

What head bolts/studs are you using?

If ARPs, are you using moly lube or 30 weight oil on the threads?

Moly lube . I remember the paper said 81ft lbs so is that what I retorque it to?

Yep, retorque to that then.

Though my ARP's said 80ft/lbs I guess an extra ft/lb. won't matter.

There is Know break in just make sure that the head bolts are TQ down to spec that way you dont lift the head.
