Okay i had posted about getting no oil pressure and now i got it to get pressure by priming it threw the oil pressure sender hole. oiled it all the way to the top of block and now iot gains pressure.
My question is now it wont start. it started before and i ran it for 10 seconds trying to get pressure once. My sparkplugs look blackened and may be off gap, i know im getting fuel since its at least going threw the rail and i get some smoke when cranking that smells like semi burnt fuel. Maybe the timing is off? Maybe the cas is off? how can i tell if its off? i took it off for the rebuild and put it back on but i did move the cams a little when installing head so maybe cas is off? it feels like it may almost start up but just wont quite get there. It has ran before like i said for the 10 seconds but i shut it down once it wasnt getting pressure an i let it run no longer than 10 seconds as i counted in my head as i watched the pressure gauge.
Thanks i do have a cop setup and im going to try to swap back the old coilpack and new sparkplugs and see what happens.
I would check compression but would i have much with a newly rebuilt engine with unseated rings?
