rebuild problems!!!

whats up guys.....I have a 92 tsi that i just rebuilt.....it has 160 compression accross the board......I seem to be burning at least a quart of oil in about 4 to 5 days.....I have no visible leaks....since i put the new head on with comp 101200's tit retainers n springs and a cometic head gasket its been doing this.......car runs strong......the only thing left on the car with original miles on it(140,000+) are the turbo and the oil cooler......does anyone have any suggestions on what it could be???thanks for any help........

Piston rings haven't set yet? Could you be getting possible blow by?

It smokes a little bit when i get into boost and in between shifts but if i baby it it is fine...If i sit for a while and then go it smokes a little bit also.........what do you think??? And i just put on a ported 2g o2 housing on and i have alot of shaft play on the exhaust side>>possible turbo burning oil?????

I think you answered your own queston. Pull your lower IC pipe and check there for oil if its bad enough it will be in there.
