ok guys here is whats up i have a 90 talon tsi with the 6 bolt motor i just finished up the rebuild and it idles fine and i set the timeing so the marks are dead on but once i tried to take it around the block it wouldnt stay idleing unless i kept my foot on the gas like 100 percent and once i tried to drive it the car would stutter and jerk all my mods are in my profile if you wanna take a look but im stumped as to what it could be i dont have my safc hooked up yet so keep that in mind any input would be awsome thanks :thumb:

Running 750's without any fuel management might cause you a bit of a problem. By the sounds of it though, I would say you have a huge vacuum or boost leak.

Man, there could be soooo many things causing this. Keep it simple to start and go over everything you did during/after the rebuild.
You didn't happen to leave a rag or something stuffed in your intercooler pipes, did you? Leave the MAF unplugged by chance? Check over all your sensors/vacuum hoses/intercooler hoses and make sure everything's plugged in. If there are injectors unplugged or clogged it would cause the symptoms that you are describing also. How's your timing look?

Good luck. Hope you get it figured out.

the maf is plugged in i checked that now towles or anything all checked out i could check the ic pipeing make sure its on solid and im gonna check all teh vac and boost leaks tomorrow make sure nothing is messed up the timeing is set so the marks line up on the came gears but idk if the cas is on wrong or not i gotta check that tomorrow to:ohdamn: ugh frustrating LOL

If the shaft on your cas were inverted 180 degrees your timing probably would not have come close to lining up when checked with a timing light, not to mention your car would run like ballz if it ran at all.

also guys i think my boost controler was hooked up backwards which would casue the waste gate to be open the whole time casueing a huge boost leak becasue im not getting any cel lights and it runs great under no load does that sound like it could be a solution to the problem and if anyone knows how to hookup a turbo xs boost controler that would help to thanks guys
