rebuild kit for fake 16G

let me start out by saying... ha!
this kid dropped off a 2000 honda civic to me that he put a turbo kit on and off to the races he went without doing injecters fuel pump anything to the stock motor.... u can guess what happened next! so he swaped in a motor and manual tran out of a 91 civic.... anyways he had no idea what the hell he was doing and i got a no-runnin car and he said fix it... so i fixed everything to make the car run and everything but then i see a big puddle of oil on the floor comming out of the turbo.....AND THATS WHY IM HERE! haha
i have looked all over the internet to find a rebuild kit for this thing and i cant seam to find anyone that can tell me what it is... the best i can tell its a B16G knockoff prob from EBAY..... the stamp on it says:
TURBOCHARGER
TYPESM-EVOIII
PARTNO:T3
SEARIALNO:EMO711201

Any ideas would be great! i will be able to get pics up too if anyone thinks they might be able to help....

That's definitely a knock off E3. It's probably not worth rebuilding. If I were you I would look for a better turbo.

Yeah.. think about what you're asking. Rebuild kit for a knock off. Definitely not worth the hassle IMO

Rebuilding a knock off 16g? thats about as dumb as buying a knock off turbo

well thats what you get when you have a shop and you get someone elses project ### they cant finish it.... i know its a pos but that what they want to use.... i was thinkin that it would be easyer and cheaper to buy a new one but i figured i would ask anyway..... if in fact they want to rebuid this one does anyone have an idea were to get a kit? if it was me i would buy a new one (along with a diffrent car haha) but people are dumb and want to build dumb stuff for cheap.....

Supposedly there is one kit made that fits this garbage, as discussed in this thread:

Otherwise, you'd need to buy two kits- a Garrett T3 kit for the journal bearings and turbine seal, and a MHI kit for the thrust hardware. The cost of the parts makes the turbo not worth touching when you can buy a completely new junk 16G made out of recycled car bumpers and aluminum cans for just under $200 on eBay.

it was a friend of a friend thing.... it was bad but nothin a little time could not fix... haha only to about 15 hours to basicly rewire the hole car so it was not like its a shop fixture... the turbo has been the big pain....

Check to make sure your turbo is rebuildable 1st!! Most likely it is not! Like said above get a t25, 14b, or a real 16g. its a waste of time. Read that thread.

yea im not really sure whats going on in this kids head.... but just from talking with him more and more its sounding like the car will go up for sale after he rails the crap out of it..... i just get that feeling.... so maybe hes just building it to have a little fun and off it not sure.
