What's broken when there's no power to the rear wheels? Car up on the lift, only the front wheels turn. The driveshaft coming out of the transfer case does not turn and there's a grinding noise in the transmission (manual), and the transfer case area. When I turn the driveshaft by hand, the rear wheels turn ok.

So what's broken? Center differential? Transfer case?

Sounds like you blew the center diff bro, or trashed the viscous coupler, or blew the transfer case! No way to tell till you take it apart! If your sure the noise is in the trans then its the center diff you probably broke a spider gear or 2!
