I was asking why he wants to convert to rear-wheel, seems more of a hassle more than a benefit to me.

I know that buschur racing sells a few pieces to do the RWD conversion but you will still have to make your own choices as to transmission, driveshaft, and rear end. I don't think it would be cost effective for any company to make a RWD kit.

Probably another drift fanatic. But to the OP, good luck making a non-turbo fwd into a rrd. The only people who go RRD go from awd to rrd, which is a whoooole lot easier.

your going to have to beat a tunnel under your car so the driveshaft can go and a Ford 9" fits under our cars.

thats proberly why he wants to do it to be original and have almost a one off!! i thinks its a good idea and i hope it works for him but yes turbo that car or it will be pointless

As far as the hassle, cost and time this would take they are correct. However, I think it's your car and if you want to, do it. I have never seen a "kit" for sale. It's obvious the easiest path would be from an AWD car but with enough know how and tools anythings possible. Screw it, make it RWD and toss a small block into it, that'll really annoy someone, although you wouldn't be destroying an AWD in the process. This is definitely an "extreme" custom job. Good luck and I hope it all works out.
