Rear defroster repair

I searched for "defroster repair" and was surprised nothing came up. However, I noticed this morning my rear defroster never cleared the rear window of the frozen sleet we got last night. The switch works, and the rear glass is tinted. The PO did say he had the entire car retinted because it had bubbled up tint before. So for now, until I can look at it further, I'll assume that at worst, the copper got scraped off somewhere. I've seen repair kits for this before, but what would this community recommend if I do need to fix it?

A generic repair kit should suffice. Permatex, or any other decent brand will do just fine.

That's what I've been looking at, but didn't know if there was a preffered one or not.

Don't need anything too fancy for that. You're just putting continuity back into the circuit.
