RC 1000cc global and deadtime settings?

GLOBAL SETTINGS
For 91 octane you'd find your global settings using the below equation.
( stock injector size / new injector size ) - 1 = global fuel settings
For Ethanol you'd find your global settings using a few equations.
  1. new injector size x 0.67 = rate of flow for new injectors on E85
  2. ( stock injector size / rate of flow for new injectors on E85 ) - 1 = global fuel settings

So with that being said lets plug the new information in and figure it out for your RC 1000cc injectors...

91 Octane
( 450 / 1000 ) - 1 = -55%

Ethanol
1. 1000 x 0.67 = 670
2. ( 450 / 670 ) - 1 = -32%

INJECTOR DEAD TIME
An injectors dead time varies but RC 1000cc injectors will have a DT typically between 420 and 495 µsec, you'll just have to play with it a bit while its idling to find the sweet spot.

Hey guys I tried to use the deadtimes and it seems not to work for me! I am not sure why but to get combineft right it ended up at like 150-185 I do not understandthis!!!! could the injectors be dirty? or just malfunctioning?

Video #8 brief explain and good help

Good starting point. Global and DT equation is a starting point every injector is different. Once you have your starting point its more or less an educated guessing game based on logged info and what the engine is doing. I have fic I450cc and according to the equation I should be @-71 global and 315 dead. Actually wont even start car. After logging and guessing I'm at -56 global and 480 DT. You have to play with it and adjust till you get what your supposed to according to log.
