okay so whenever i am stopped at a red light my dashboard rattles likke crazy!! it's so annoying too, does anyone have any idea what it might be, and what can i do to fix it?

thanks!

Try to pinpoint the noise and then tap, bang, push, or do whatever it takes to make the noise go away or change pitch to let you know you are in the right area and altering the rattle. If you can narrow down where it is coming from then you can start checking for loose screws, panels, or whatever. You will just have to play with it and figure it out. Good luck.:)

What Gravedigger said. I've found it helps to have someone else drive so that you're not distracted by trying to find the rattle while you're driving.

I bet your hood hinges are worn out.
With your hood closed, grab the corner up by the windshield and push and pull on it. If there's slop, that's your rattle.
Take a 6" long piece of vacuum tubing and lube it up with some spit, hey it works, and stuff it into each end of the weather stripping seal.
It fixed my mysterious dash rattle...

Bad motor mounts will let the engine vibrate a lot causing the rest of the car to do the same.

I wish someone had told this to me a long time ago. Honestly, I can't tell you how many DSM's I've been in searching for rattles only to find it was the hood. And then weather stripping as a cheap fix? damn.

strm sick engine bro nice and clean.

but thanks for the advice with the hood hinges.

Everything in my car rattles. The second I pinpoint one I start to hear something else rattle. But like everyone else said, try the hood and if its not that just have some one else drive you while you climb around looking for the source of the rattle.
