the rx-7, with the 500 caddy though, wasn't so easy, that one doesn't drive yet. but the nice thing about that is once i get the engine set, the wiring won't be much of a problem, good ole carb engines![]()
The original question was about fitting a TT 3000GT motor into an eclipse, which probably means he doesn't have the experience you do. That being the case, he probably needs deep pockets to have this done, unless you would like a new project for the remainder of the winter and spring. My guess it's probably not feasable since you would need the engine to the tranny, and the TT engine is much bigger than our 420A.
And you most likely won't see a V12 bike anytime soon since it's been tried and cannot be ridden due to the weight of the engine. Dodge came out with a concept bike with the vipers V-10 engine in it, but then again it had 4 tires so technically it's not a motorcycle.
i know a local guy who put a n/a 3000GT motor in his 96 talon, he said that the turbo motor wont fit or else he would have dont it that way. i will ask him for pics but i think he solt it on ebay.
. I think if i had more time and money it would be cool for a side project to chop the ass end off my 1g and make a mid engine RWD eclipse with tt v/6...
