The car is about 95% done. Just needs the axles thrown in, msd wired up then it's off to Shearer for exhaust then to Buschurs for tuning

How did he start the build? He just ordered the parts and waited until he had everything he needed together, or just started going at it?

wow thats insane...wish the body on my 90 was in that good of shape....

Hi this is Dan, the owner of the car. The car is in amazing shape, all original paint, no rust.

I was working over seas and I was going to build another 1G I had sitting around. It was a 92 awd but the body was in so so shape and it was in primer. I decided to look for another car, one that was in perfect shape. It took months and months to find. I was going to build a 450-500 hp car. I had a T3 turbo custom built and I got in contact with Ron Shearer about building me a custom manifold for it. Ron convinced me to ditch the T3 and go with a 42r. After that it just kinda snowballed and before I knew it I was building a 900 hp car. I got in touch with shep and talked to him about a transmission, I wanted to go with a stage 3 but after informing John about the rest of the mods we came to the conclusion that the Dog Box would be the best bet. Then I had to decide on a clutch and once again John informed me of a few options. I decided that the Tilton carbon/carbon would be my best bet. I had about 90% of the parts when I started the build but as always there are little things you need that you don't think about and then there are things that you decide to change, etc.

It's beautiful. Good luck with the rest of your build!

Yes a 42R on top of a Shearer manifold is like sex for your engine bay.
