I had not checked my oil in about a week berfore last night, so I decided to check it. No oil was on the dipstick, except for the very tip of it. Ichecked my overflow tank, and it was low of coolant too. So, I looked at my block and there is a pretty good oil leak where the headgasket is (or was). I looked in my catch can to see how much oil was in there-it was full of something that looked like milk.
So, I know I need to do a compression check to make sure on the headgasket, but what should i do about running out of oil? I was already in the works of swapping heads (bad valve guides and seals) but do you guys think I should rebuild the whole motor now? Any info would help.
