Niagara,
I am thinking about buying a racing seat, but the one I'm looking at isn't reclinable, I'm just wondering what peoples opinions are towards non-reclinable seats? I've never sat in one so I can't really compare. Another problem is i can only get my hands on one seat for a good price, so is it going to look stupid with a racing seat, and just a stock passengers seat? The other thing I was thinking was I'd pick up the one seat, then down the road buy another. Will it look odd with two different racing seats? Does anyone have picsof their cars with either one racing seat, or two different style seats? Please post your pics and opinions, I'm looking at a Sparco EVO seat. Thanks!

Ha, if you want to buy 2 Sparco seats you'll have to put your house up for mortage :) There are plenty of people driving around with 1 racing seat and 1 stock seat. However those people also get called riceboys, as will you. You really don't "need" a racing seat unless you're actually racing. And if you were actually racing (at a sanctioned track) you'd want to take your passenger seat out anyways for weight savings. However, don't do just one racing seat of one style, and another completely different, that'd look retarded. Save up until you can get two, or check out Ebay for pairs of used Corbeaus, Recaros, Sparcos (if you can justify the massive price tag) or maybe some stock seats from another car that appeals to you.

I was just thinking racing seats because my stock seats are beat up. They are in really bad shape, I looked into getting them re-upholtered but it was pretty expensive. I'm not racing my car, I just thought that new seats would be better then the ones I have. I checked ebay, but shipping to Canada is expensive. Thanks for the reply.

I would say look around for reclining seats because someone of a different stature might love them but when you sit in them they might not be comfortable for you. Each person is different so having stationary seats would kind of suck. I would say stick with something that reclines or you might regret it later.

I've got one fixed back Corbeau in my car. If you go easy with your choices you can get good deals on Sparco's for about $250-300 or so a piece for their cheaper models, the same model Corbeau's however were like $200-225.

i have only one racing seat... it doesnt look that bad...
i only have one because my drivers seat broke an dit was cheaper tor eplace with a sparco than to buy another seat.
I will buy another seat later but right now you can hardly tell (windows are tinted)
and non reclinable are not baad either, just a little tight (they kinda strech over time... or i shrunk i dont know)
the driving position is very good.
Only problem is if your ina drive through its hard to get at your wallet...
:(
