What's the best place for me to purchase a race head for a 1g 4g63 n/t.?

i currently have a stock 1g 4g63 n/t. id like to gain a few horses.. i need opinions on where to get a good race head for this. i cant run turbo at the local dirt track.so i can really only do some head work and with some good cams.. 264 cams i would say?

Check the Market place tab ... It is up there ^^^^^^

You have several Supporting vendors to choose from.

JAM, Force Engineering, SIM among others.

We would DEF be the choice for getting the most power out of an N/A. We do a ton of N/A cylinder heads for the local circle track stuff. Please call us and have a chat. 269 685 6668

Wow I just got done reading the reviews I had no idea all the negative shit about them I got my head done by them and had none of the problems these people are stating. Had no clue sorry guys.

LOL double-check that head...

No joke. They certainly do not produce good work.

I did more business than I care to admit with Mr. Walker and his minions a couple years ago, with a ton of stories that still leave a bad taste in my mouth.

hello john.. yall said the 2g 4g63 2.0turbo intake manifold will bolt right to my 1g 4g63 non turbo correct?

Are you asking me???

If so, yes it will bolt up, however, the 2g intake ports are much smaller than that of a 1g cylinder head. So yes, it will bolt up, but it would take quite a bit of porting to get it to mach up somewhat correctly. Stick with a 1g manifold.

ok what intake manifold was i told then? maybe it was not the 2g. maybe an evo intake manifold? getting a race head and they said something about getting another intake ? said it would work better?

must be somewhat stock appearing tho..

I dont believe I ever gave anyone any advice about this.

EDIT:

Just checked on the Evo manifold, it will not work on the 1g head. Your best bet would be a cyclone manifold for stock appearance.

Whats wrong with your head?

Since you are not turbo, you may want to consider going to a 2g head and intake, to help up the velocity to fill the cylinder more.

Also in one of your other threads, you said you measured your cams, what specs did you get?

Viperlp01 is the John you talked with on the phone. the combo I was talking with you about was an evo III intake mani, with a 2g 7-bolt head. reason being was that the large intake runner of the 6-bolt has to big of an intake runner in an N/A format.
