What's the best place for me to purchase a race head for a 1g 4g63 n/t.?

i currently have a stock 1g 4g63 n/t. id like to gain a few horses.. i need opinions on where to get a good race head for this. i cant run turbo at the local dirt track.so i can really only do some head work and with some good cams.. 264 cams i would say?

little pricy on an evo3 intake manifold... any other options?

A stock one would work ok, keep that intake in mind for an option later on. Are you planning on, or possibly, have a way to tune this?

^what he said. id be willing to bet you could pick up a few ponies with a tune alone because you could easily run a higher octane fuel and more timing over stock

The 2G intake manifold won't even fully cover the 1G ports if I remember correctly. Not even a matter of porting enough.

I was beat to it, but yes your going to want to run a 2G head over the 1G. It will give you the powerband you need to for the track. Stick with a stock 2G head until you get the funds for an EVO3. Just make sure you port out the opening for your non turbo throttle body.

Is it against class rules to run adjustable cam gears??
